With just 20 minutes left on the clock, Sirius broke the deadlock. Isak Bjerkebo played the ball to Victor Svensson, who in turn set up Robbie Ure – who rolled in 1–0 for the visitors. – We're all too bad. We're in the game for maybe 15 minutes. We're trying to press but we're not succeeding, says Sotirios Papagiannopoulos in the halftime interview. A quarter of an hour after the opening goal, the same man was in a shooting position again. The 22-year-old Scotsman took the ball with his right foot – and Papagiannopoulos was caught off guard with a clever feint – and scored his and the team's second goal with his left foot. – I'm trying to get up but I'm slipping. It's two real slip-ups, says 'Sotte'. In the halftime analysis, John Guidetti praised Sirius's two-goal scorer. – He's the big difference. Extremely smart as a player, says the expert. On the added time of the second half, Henrik Castegren won the 'stone-sax-bag' against Robbie Ure. Then he got to take a free kick – and he pulled it up in the box, which sealed the visitors' 3–0 win. The three-point win puts Sirius ninth in the first 10 matches. It's the best start of a Swedish top-flight season since Öster in 1981 – 45 years ago. – It's hard to say anything other than that it's incredible. It shouldn't be possible for a club like Sirius. But we've taken it day by day, worked hard, treated each match as if it's the most important of the season, says Sirius coach Andreas Engelmark. Now they have a 10-point margin behind second-placed Elfsborg – who have played a match more – and 11 points behind third-placed Hammarby. – It's not an easy match to explain. We started very well with the ball, and could have made 1–0, and we continued to ask many questions, especially on our left side. But they have shown all season that they don't need much to score. They are extremely effective, says AIK coach José Riveiro. Now both AIK and Sirius are waiting for the World Cup break. The Allsvenskan restarts in July.
