Sirius is loaning forward Finlay Neat to Norrby IF. The club tops the Allsvenskan with 42 points after 18 rounds but recently lost 0-3 to BK Häcken.

Finlay Neat is leaving Sirius on loan to Norrby IF. Upsala Nya Tidning journalist Daniel Meisels first reported the move, and Borås Tidning later confirmed it is a loan for the remainder of the 2026 season. The 20-year-old forward is under contract with Sirius until the end of the 2029 season. He joined the club from Malmö FF last summer. Last season he featured in three league matches, but this campaign he has not played any minutes in the Allsvenskan. The loan gives him a chance to secure regular playing time in the Superettan.

Sirius lost their latest league match 0-3 to BK Häcken at Studenternas IP. According to match statistics from ESPN and Fox Sports, BK Häcken's Julius Lindberg opened the scoring in the 28th minute. Gustav Lindgren then added two more goals, in the 62nd and 80th minutes. Sirius struggled to create dangerous chances and managed only one shot on target during the entire game. BK Häcken dominated with nine total shots, four of which were on goal. The loss ended a positive run for Sirius, who according to our stats page have won three of their last five matches.

Despite the loss to Häcken, Sirius remains top of the Allsvenskan. They have 42 points from 13 wins, three draws, and two losses. The team has scored 47 goals and conceded 26, giving them a goal difference of plus 21. They lead the league by a full six points ahead of second-placed Hammarby FF. The team's top scorer is R. Ure, who according to our standings page has 15 goals in 15 appearances.

The loan of Finlay Neat potentially opens up a spot in the squad for other players. Sirius has a broad attacking section with R. Ure as the clear top scorer. However, the loss to Häcken showed the team might need more offensive options from the bench. With a stable lead in the league, Sirius can afford to experiment a little with the squad. Norrby IF, who are taking Neat, sit in eleventh place in the Superettan. For Sirius, the focus now is on maintaining their lead ahead of the final rounds of the autumn and preparing for the match against Degerfors.
