Sirius supporter association Västra Sidan set a new club record by sending ten packed buses to the away match against Västerås SK FK last month. Chairman William Nordstrand confirms that interest in the team is at an all-time high.

"We sent ten buses to Västerås recently, that was a record," says William Nordstrand.

The massive away support is part of a historic season for Sirius, who currently lead Allsvenskan with 51 points from 22 games. The team has won four of its last five matches and holds an eight-point lead over second-placed Hammarby FF. The latest victory was a 2-1 win over Örgryte IS, with goals from Henrik Castegren and Victor Svensson. The team's offensive strength is also shown in the numbers with 52 goals scored so far this season.

The club and supporter groups are actively working to engage more people and broaden support, especially in Sweden's fourth-largest city. The goal is clear: to win the Swedish championship. William Nordstrand expresses a feeling many fans share.

"We didn't even dare to dream about this a few years ago," he adds.

The future looks bright with a stable squad and a top scorer in R. Ure, who has 15 goals in 15 appearances. Sirius continues its title chase with an away match against Gais on October 10th, a fixture you can prepare for by checking our fixtures page.
